The Fiddleback range features Spotted Gum and Blackbutt, popular Australian hardwoods. It uses wear layers of these species bonded to plywood for stability without compromising aesthetics.
The engineered construction combines genuine eucalyptus wear layers with a multi-layer plywood core. This innovative approach preserves the classic aesthetic properties of Spotted Gum and Blackbutt while enhancing dimensional stability.
Eucalyptus species like Spotted Gum and Blackbutt have long been popular flooring choices for Australian homes due to their decorative grain patterns and resistance to local climate extremes. Fiddleback leverages these authentic, locally sourced hardwoods.
