Plywood Substrate
Below the wear layer is an ultra-stable cross-laid plywood substrate measuring either 15mm or 11mm depending on the wear layer thickness. This dimensional stable plywood forms the engineered core for maximal stability.

Flooring is engineered to exacting standards using environmentally certified resources. The wear layer can be refurbished over time for extended lifespan.
Seasonal Stability
De Marque Oak's engineered construction utilises an ultra-stable plywood substrate below the wear layer. This protects against seasonal expansion and contraction for dependable performance year-round.
Extended Durability
The quality solid oak wear layer is designed to last with normal residential use. However, should superficial scratching occur over time, it can be easily refurbished through re-coating or light sanding and re-coating to like-new condition.
Installation Requirements
De Marque Oak flooring is suitable for in-slab hydronic heating installation only. Matching accessories are also available.
Heating System Compatibility
De Marque Oak flooring is only approved for installation over embedded hydronic heating systems, where the heating elements are distributed within a concrete slab.
Moisture Precautions
As the floors are not waterproof, they should not be installed in areas prone to moisture like bathrooms. Alternative flooring options are more suitable for wet rooms.
